“its a coolant switching valve. located just behind the LF headlight. you can duplicate this noise stationary by going to the climate screen and going from about 17C to about 21C, when you pass over about 19C youl'l hear it click. you can even have someone open the hood in park and listen for the noise. I agree, it is slightly loud. But I have replaced one already and it made the same noise. Perhaps it could be insulated more on its mounting or physically...“
